Billy Nudgel Productions, BNP, is dedicated to producing high quality educational material designed to inspire and entertain children. Geoff Jones, the founder of BNP, writes, records and produces his own material, which has been ‘road tested’ in classrooms and live performances over many years. Geoff, aka ‘Billy Nudgel’, has been a guest author at a number of book fairs & writers’ festivals. He believes strongly that music is a powerful tool for both teaching and learning, therefore, music is an integral part of his storytelling presentations and learning through music sessions for young children. Presented in a variety of musical styles, with lyrics appropriate for children, Geoff’s music has appeal for people of all ages. His musical creations, which draw on experiences gained from over twenty years of primary school teaching and as a father of four, reflect a deep understanding of what interests and entertains children. Geoff’s music is now being heard by children throughout Australia and New Zealand. A finalist in the Australian Songwriters' Association National Songwriting Contest, Geoff, as Billy Nudgel, has performed his original songs and stories at many events for children including the National Playgroup Day at South Bank Parklands in Brisbane, the Kid’s Concert at the Celebration of Literature Festival on the Gold Coast, the Port Fairy Ex Libris Book Fair in Victoria and numerous schools and childcare centres. Geoff has a distinctive way of teaching while entertaining and children can’t help but be involved.  |
